    Is it possible to have two harddisk drives in the M1530 case? (meaning not a USB or firewire connected one)

    Nope, it appears there is only one drive bay (at least from the service manual) !!

    The Inspiron 1720, Vostro 1700 and XPS 1730 allow two hard drives.
