I am trying to reformat my XPS M1530 because it's that time. So i used this iso http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ . Everytime after I enter my vista key this error pops up. Windows cannot open the required file D:\Sources\Install.wim. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0x80070002. Any help would be great. Thanks

The torrent is probably corrupted so the iso is bad. Try using a real Dell recovery disk, call them and hollar for a new DVD

I thought the M1530 came with a Dell reinstallation disc? Mine does. Didn't even need to enter the Vista key everytime I reinstall it, even on a new HDD.

That "recovery" disk is not meant for reformatting your computer and re-installing Windows, you must use either a retail disc or the Windows Vista disc that shipped with your Dell XPS M1530 to re-install Windows.

It states this on the NeoSmart website as well (emphasis mine):

If you can't find your Windows Vista disc that shipped with your computer, call Dell technical support and kindly ask them for one, they will gladly ship one out to you.
