    Can you put a keyboard with a trackpoint on the m90/m1710?

    or mod it in someway?

    Usually you can do it with the Inspirons, but it requires you to get a hold of the Dell repair technician CD.

    Simply installing the right keyboard and driver won't do it -- the BIOS is actually slightly different between the pointing stick/non-pointing stick models.


    Short answer: no, I don't believe so.
