I'd get the 9 cell, longer battery life nad more air circulation

Very similar to mine, only for the 7,200 rpm HD, i would also recommend the 9 cell, it might seem a bit larger, but it really helps with the temperature, specially on these high frequency processors, ( duh, not to mention longer battery life :p ) you could also get the 6 cell battery ( at least thats what i did ) so you can always swap it when you dont want it to stand out.

but really its up to you, if you feel that config fits you well, go for it !!!

Oh, and, Welcome to the XPS club hehe

if u have a choice, i'd go with the LED option......
ur not gettin the bluRay, so high-def screen isnt that necessary

You want LED. Even with Blu Ray, you will still notice huge quality differences with the 1440 resolution screen. You also want the 9-cell for the extra juice.

As others have said go for the 9 cell, if cost is a concern downgrade to the 2.4 GHz processor, 2.5 isnt much of an improvement. Do you need the built in Verizon?

think u are looking at the 'best' config at Dell EPP?

(built-in verizon is standard there, and processor is either T9300 or T9500....)

    hmm, this deal vs the Dell EPP deal @ $1268 (T8300, nVidia 8600, 4GB, LED, Intel-N, BlueTooth, 4yr warranty+accidental damage ) and upgrade ~$120 for 9-cell

    its a touch choice, specs(mobile broadband+better processor+more HDD space)+photoshop+MS Offfice vs accidental damage+lower price.......

If the 25% off coupon were out, we wouldnt have this problem. Verizon card really is useless to many many people.

i guess... but if u want it and dont mind paying $60/month for 2 yr contract for it(like business people who needs an always-on connection), think Dell+Verizon has a $120 rebate for such customers... making it even better

    Thanks for the awesome advice!!
Should I got with the LED Infinity display? (lol and what is that)

The verizon thing is included in the price and was already prechecked w/o and uncheckable box i think...
