Does anyone here actually think that these laptops coming from Dell are tested before they are shipped? I know many years ago when Dell built them in Austin, TX they did test them. By reading these posts of defective machines being shipped I don't believe they are tested at all? My order went into boxing the next day after ordering it from the home and business website. Comments?

I believe they are being tested.. at least I know they do it extensively and seriously, here in Europe, at the Poland manufacturing facility!!!

But what you say also makes some sense regarding defective machines being shipped out.. so I don't know.. may be the testing process is not rigorous?!?!!! and the external cosmetic flaws are usually over looked?!! May be!
