Hi all, got my 1647 3 weeks ago now, and have a big issue.

anytime the cpu starts to get used even remotly heavy, the laptops fans kick in are crazy noisy, like you can hear this thing humming from upstairs. If I hoist the laptop up, and stick my iphone under the middle-front, the noisy moderates to a much better level. Im using it on a flat surface glass table.

Im guess im wondoring from others if this happens, i see alot of threads of noise, but this seems really extreme to me.

im running a10 bios, all latest drivers.

Even today i was running firefox with nfl scores, and there was a bug on the page which was causing a memory leak and causing cpu spiking, and the laptop went in overdrive during this moment.

I played age of conan for 5 minutes, and after that it was so noisy i had to basically crank the volumn almost to max to hear it properly.

my HDD temp is under 40
    main temp is under 30
all 4 cores running under 25

    my specs
    studio xps 1647
    core i5 520
    6gb ram
    500gb hdd
    16:9 screen.
    windows 7 64bit premium.
