    Hi people.
I have this new notebook. I had noone of the problems i've read about it (no BSOD, no crash etc. ) except for one thing: my keyboard backlight doesn't seems to work :(
I did a fresh Vista (64bit) install just after buying it, i missed to reinstall some drivers maybe? I also installed dell quickset and if i use the FN key + right key an icon with a keyboard appears in the lower right part of the screen but still no backlight..any advice for me or i have to call dell support center?
    Thank you

p.s. sorry for my terrible english :p

Did it work before your fresh install?
PS there could well be a software option to turn on/off in Dell tools.

the cable is probably not connected properly in the laptop; similar thing happened to one of my sxps 13's .. i simply took the machine apart / put it back together and the backlight worked properly
