Hey all, so I'm loving my XPS 16 so far. One complaint I do have though is that there is a program or service running that always seems to be using the hard drive. When I first boot the computer it takes maybe 20-25 minutes for it to go away, but after a few moments of moderate use it's back again. It's spinning very low and not causing any slowdowns, but it's still spinning.

I've already disabled Indexing on the hard drives and stopped/disabled the service, removed some of the Dell bloatware I'm never going to use (Remote Access totally removed, webcam software removed from startup, etc.). What else could it be? Any ideas?

I was having this same problem with my laptop, the harddrive was badly fragmented and I just wound up formatting it. However I did have slowdown, and it was like 4 years of fragmentation (don't know why I never run a defrag..) so you're probably not having the same issue.
