Anyone know where I can get the software for the webcam? The Dell Downloads section gives me a transaction error ... And when I downloaded it from the FTP site the program says please plug in a device.

Call Dell and request a CD.

You don't need to use dell software to actually use the web cam. Any software that reads the video and audio feeds will work just fine. I use Google's Picasa.

Just a quick webcam question ....

I have some concerns about camera security.

Does anyone know if the camera can be activated remotely?

There are so many stories about unauthorized camera access in the news lately and I wonder if this is an issue with SXPS 16 too?

The thing you're talking about is that school that gave out macbooks to every one of their students that came with pre installed "spyware".

As long as you keep up with your spyware and virus software and run them weekly you won't have any problems. And there is a light that comes on when your camera is on so pay attention to that also.

    Thanks Josh ...

The wife found a simple solution --> put a sticker over the camera!
