The horizontal lines on the right side flicker. The number of lines and amount of flickering increases with the brightness.

The vertical white chunk on the left does not flicker, it just stays on the screen. Oddly enough, by applying pressure to the colored vertical lines on the left side of this white chunk, I can make a few of the lines go away, allowing the "screen beneath" to "show through". When I release pressure, all the lines return.

I reinstalled my video drivers, nothing. I tried system restore, nothing. I tried reseating the display cable on the motherboard, nothing. Additionally, the computer itself isn't frozen. It still boots and runs like before. What's odd is that it was fine a few hours ago, and now this suddenly pops up. As far as I know, the computer was not dropped or physically damaged in any way. And I've had this machine for a couple of months now.

    What could this be?
