Hi, I'm from Argentina. I've recieved my xps m1530 1 month ago. Today I've noticed a stuck green pixel on my LG Screen (1440x900).
What should I do? Call Dell?

Have you tried "Search"ing around ?? We have a great "Search" feature here on NBR :)

    For example >> http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=248517

    And >> http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=230021

Take a look... Its better you try out a few different things suggested around here, because what works for one might not for another.. so its better you yourself try out a few tips from those links for example :)

Btw, sorry for this issue you have with ur M1530.. but hope you get it sorted it out soon. Good Luck :) Cheers.

Thanks for your reply. I've tried the methods described on those threads, but the stuck green pixel is still there.
    Here it is:

It's only a stuck green pixel if it is green against a black screen.
What you've shown may indicate dead red and blue sub-pixels, which makes white in that spot show up as green.

I think you're right. When I look the pixel with a blue or red background it looks BLACK (also looks black with black background). With a white or yellow background it looks green.

Should I keep trying the methods to fix the pixel?
Should I call dell asking for a replacement screen?

    Thanks

if you tell dell its only one pixel they will NOT replace it.. they have a 3-5 or more pixel policy if i am correct... so if you do call them make sure you have more "dead" pixels if you know what i mean or something else wrong.. but fyi i went through 5 lg panels from dell and all but one of them had at least one or more either bright or dead pixels right out of the box
