    Hi,
I heve T9500 penryn processor with 2,60 GHz and the CPU-Z is showing sometimes 13.5x multiplier =2.7GHz (without any undervolting software or lite that)
The RMclock showing 14x multiplier like IDA
    and CPUgenie only 13x multiplier

Any idea what that means, Is it possible to have 2, 7 when it is only 2, 6 GHz?

    It's IDA.

    IDA can give you .5x (13x + .5x) and 1x (13x + 1x) higher multi. Usually it's 1x higher.
You can set it to 14x with crystalcpuid or throttlestop (best program).

But when IDA is engaged, one core is not active.

    thanks, one more question:

Except RMClock, Notebook hardware control, CPUgenie, Crystalcpuid or Throttlestop is there any software that can be used to undervolt the processor ( and is satisfactory working on W7) ???

    THANKS

    CPU pin mod.

Also a dsdt mod could work for some.

RMClock had compatibility problem with W7 and fighting with its power plan
Notebook hardware control and Crystalcpuid are not working on my W7 x64
CPUgenie is not free and has also some minnor compatibility issues with W7 (but I am currently testing the trial)
Throttlestop - dont know how to use it for undervolting (if it is even possible, dont think so)

I just need some tool for undervolt in to 2 indexs:

    first SLFM (or lowest regular)
    and second for max load

    thanks for understanding

Throttlestop can olny set one voltage and multiplier right now, but the user who made it (unclewebb) is on this forum and does listen to requests. So I bet he would add a second FID and VID.

using w7 64bit home premium myself. RMclock worked like a charm for undervolting my t9800. Dropped it from 1.1625 to 1.025. Temps dropped about 7-8 degrees.

I dunno if it matters but there is a option in the w7 power plan options to let another program manage it, and you can select RmClock from the list.

I didn't have that selected before and I didn't have problems them. I have it selected now and still no problems. Thats why I dunno if it matters.

    U right
If RMC want to be used in W7 than this has to be done:

    in RMC
    enable OS power management integration
in RMC in Profiles in OS settings choose for example Ballanced
and in W7 in power plan Ballanced in Minimum processor state set 100%

    OR

in RMC disable OS power management integration
and in W7 in power plan in Minimum processor state set 100%
