Has anyone found a permanent solution to the spacebar squeak? I've been able to temporarily fix mine by removing the space bar key and reattaching it. It seems to fix the squeak for a few months and then it returns.

I was tempted to have the keyboard replaced under warranty when it happens but the last time I did that, they gave me another faulty keyboard - seems even the replacement units at the time had the same issue. This was 6 months ago, not sure if that problem still exists on the keyboard replacements?

    Any ideas/suggestions?

I used graphite lubricant in aerosol form. Never done it since and that must be 5-6 months? http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/ambersil-graphite-lock-lubricant-n68jb

You must spray it in it's cap then use a tooth pick/ cocktail stick to put some on the space bar where it comes in contact with the keyboard clips/spring.
It is conductive so use a tiny amount (hence the point of a tooth pick) and don't let it spray in the keyboard or it may short it out.
