Hi! I've been looking into buying myself a dell XPS 15 for quite a while, but different reviews on the web seem to contradict each other quite a lot, so I have some questions:

    1) How annoying really are the improper scaling issues with the 3200x1800 resolution? Are they very frequent or occasionally happen? Can they be fixed somehow? Do a lot of people downscale to 1920x1080 to avoid these issues? Do older (or not-recently-updated) applications work well with this resolution? I usually use Photoshop and the Chrome browser quite a bit, which were mentioned a lot to not scale properly.

    2) How annoying are the reflections of the glossy display? Do they hinder the work in a well-lit office or outdoors?

    3) What is the real battery life?
Notebookcheck mentions almost 9 hours in Wi-Fi surfing mode (with a 91 Wh battery) Review Dell XPS 15 (9530, Late 2013) Notebook - NotebookCheck.net Reviews
But this one says it's under 4 hours for movie watching with turned off wi-fi Apple MacBook Pro 15in v Dell XPS 15 head-to-head review | 7 | IT PRO

    4) How high is the overall quality of Dell XPS laptops? Do they often come defective or with some other problems (say, compared to Apple Macbooks or other Windows manufacturers) ?
