    Should i trust them?

    I ordered my XPS M1530 on September 11th and the order status says it has been shipped and will arrive September 23rd. I have heard so much about peoples laptops taking a very long time to come so should i even bother getting excited about it coming so fast or did i get really lucky? I ordered the LED screen aswell so i dont really trust the date... Original ESD was October first btw.

    hey aron, well nothing can be certain, but 12-15 days is the average order to deliver time, sometimes it can go a bit longer, sometimes as short as 4 or 5 days... so you should get exited! welcome to the family!!!

    I think, that quite possibly you can..this Tuesday...that's when you would receive! ;) :)

    Dell usually over-projects on the ESD to cover all their bases (in case there was something going on w/the order) ;)

    And, the fact that it is shipping before your ESD...indeed a great sign!
    I would assume that Monday you should have a tracking number. If not, you can always call Dell and get it from the Rep (I say this because they did this for me, when I couldn't see the tracking number ~ but it was being shipped) ;)

    ordered mine 6/23 had est del date of 8/6 recieved it on 6/30 if that tells you anything.

    are u guys kidding. 8/12 to 8/20? 6/23 to 6/20?

    I think those guys LIVE in the dell factory.

    If you're in the USA, expect atleast 20-24 days between order date and delivery date. For me it took about that long. It was a disaster

    Normally you don't give an ESD that it won't arrive by. It may come early but I never had things come later than the ESD.

    lol i dont live in the dell factory. and trust me, i orderd on 8/12 around 3 pm CST and it arrived around 2 pm PST on 8/20. and other people shouldnt expect to wait as long as you had to. im just saying how quick it CAN be shipped, its all about order placement timing and how you configure. i.e. i didnt order an LED display so that didnt push back my delivery date.
