    I have a wired problem on my 1340 using windows 7 64bit.
From time to time, not sure when but when Im on windows (desktop, surfing with firefox etc..) the screen suddenly turn black, I dont see anything thou the laptop still runs normally - if I press ctrl + alt + del, I do see the menu that lets me choose all the basic options but when I exits it I still see black. This problem solves itself after a min or two and I see everything back to normal - If I was installing something then the install just finishes (the computer works normally during this, its just the screen). When this problem happens something the screen flickers, I see windows back for a sec and then black again - and after a few times its back to normal.
Anyone knows how to fix this ? Its quite irritating.

Does this only happen when surfing the net?
    When you use FF?
You may try down/up grading your video drivers..

If you press ctrl + alt + del you get the a screen where you can choose several options, one of them is to open the task manager. sometimes when I do it, it helps get the screen back tho sometimes it does nothing.
