    check it out

Signature Event Weekend Sale | Dell

the extra 100 off coupon doesnt work though for the xps 15. Actually the sales not as good as it looks.

the only thing extra for the 999.99 price they give you is 8gb of ram and the 1080p screen.

Thanks for posting this. I'm calling dell tomorrow for a credit to my account. My XPS came in the mail today, and one spec'd out like mine is now over $100 cheaper.

The XPS 15 deal is not better than buying the $1099 config with $100 coupon. You get 8gb ram but you lose the blu ray drive.

This is amusing. Through sunday, you can get my XPS plus the Blu-Ray for $31 cheaper than what I paid for mine... I hope they plan on giving me back some money and a Blu-Ray.

I found the Signature Event Sale to be more expensive for the build that I want. When I priced my XPS 15 a week ago, it came out around $1545 (includes tax + s&h). With the current promo, I'm paying almost $100 more... >.<

Yup, I found that too on a few sales, the ol' bait n switch trick. Some sales were really good though. I managed to grab a good one I thought, just dont give up and keep active on the dell site and you will finally get a deal you cant resist.

For US Customers, the July 4th sale's going on, and the deal's A LOT better than last week's Signature Event Sale! You can save up to $400 instantly + there's a $125 coupon floating around. I bought my XPS 15 this go around and got it for $1475 (includes tax + s&h)! That's $70 cheaper than what I posted earlier. :-D

Same here, the XPS 15 spec I got on Thursday (i7-2720, 6GBRAM, GT540m, 1080p) screen is now $300 more with the sale.

The default $999 XPS 15 spec in the promotion deal comes with the low res 1366 x768 screen. Any attempt to change it to the B+RGLED increases price over what was mean pre-deal.

Mine's not even close using that deal... minus the backlit keyboard (which wasn't even an option) and adding 6GB DDR3 (my ordered XPS is coming with 4GB because I'm move the 8GB from my DV7T over) it came to a little over $1,400 from a configured price of over $1,900. Using the stackable coupons from Logicbuy with the specs below it came to $1,159.99 from a configured price of $1,679.99.
