    From your sig, I'm assuming you're using a 1645?

I think it's to do with a setting in catalyst. It's in the display properties, basically it just tells it whether or not to scale the image to full screen or to leave borders. It might be a problem with the program though, do other games scale lower resolutions properly for you?

I get about 25-30 FPS at these settings (though 'sometimes' it drops to 20fps, not noticable). Lowering the eyecandy increases the fps a lot. I guess it's the best the 5730 can do with BFBC2.
( no cooler, GPU temp max at 75C with stock clocks after hours of playing)
can anobody else please try these settings out and tell their fps.
    thanks !

how r ur temps so low?! I have stock clock and i applied new paste but my gpu hits 85C! you can lower ur resolution to 900p or even 720p for a more enjoyable experience.

well 75C is standard i think (when new it maxed at 73, i'm running A11). 85C is way too high ! you should check out the sxps 16 gpu overclocking forum for more temperature data. maybe you have applied the paste the wrong way.
yeah, lowering the res definitely improves the fps ! I usually play at 900p, but sometimes crank it up to 1080p. The eyecandy is sweet!

My FPS is good. I redid my paste and it is hitting 83C now. If my GPU only hit 75 id be excited. idk if i applied too much or too little. its hard to tell when i let the heatsink do the spreading.

Also how fast are the maps loading for everyone? Mine takes like a minute.
