Hey guys, I finally pulled the trigger and bought a SXPS 16 from the outlet. I was wondering if there was any way I could run dual displays off of it? Would an HDMI splitter work, or are there hardware/software issues stopping that from working?

I don't really want to use the VGA port and HDMI port at the same time for dual monitors.

I don't even know if HDMI splitters exist but if you used one it could only be used to show the same thing on two monitors. Why don't you want to use VGA and HDMI at the same time? If you want to use 2 HDMI devices there are displayport to HDMI adapters available.

I just didn't want the extra cable every time I dock the notebook.

HDMI splitters do exist, but I seriously doubt they will work for my purposes. haha. Do you think a splitter on the VGA port will actually give me dual monitors (3 with the laptop screen)

You can get external multi-monitor solutions from Matrox etc. But, why would you just use VGA and HDMI or even displayport.
