    Though it's a small price change, I was just curious why they raised it past $1k. Parts prices perhaps, but keeping it @ $999 would have been better psychology. :p :rolleyes:

    Apparently, the $999 comes with leather (Ubuntu one) while the Vista is the $1019 without leather. :confused:

    Well I guess that would actually make sense. Online I still see it at $999 with Vista though (without leather though). Now the only question is why does the Vista option allow for far more options which are unrelated to Ubuntu (e.g. the lack of a Merlot red or non-leather option or RAM limits) whereas they allow options which aren't even supported under Ubuntu (i.e. Hybrid SLI).
