I'm having a weird issue with the GPU on my SXPS 13.

I have tried playing a SD video file in various media players including VLC and WMP with appropriate codecs.

When the 9500M's integrated gfx are enabled (ie. "power save" mode) the video pixelates quite badly when played back in full screen.

If I change the power scheme to "high performance" the discrete gfx kick in and the video scales properly.

Surely this shouldn't be happening? I know the integrated gfx aren't exactly going to run Crysis but surely they should handle basic video properly? Is this a driver issue? I'm stumped. Any ideas?

Yeah the 9400M G is pretty strong for an integrated GPU and I haven't experienced the same problem. Have you tried re-installing the drivers from Dell's site or updating to the newest from Nvidia?

My machine is only a week old so it seems to have shipped with the most recent nvidia driver. I'll try reinistalling it though. Thanks.
