Just curious, but if you used to have X-Fi from the factory and eathier

    A) Deleted it and can't re-install it.

    Or

    B) Ordered it and didn't get it.

Let me know. I'm curious. I know there are a few people here that are eathier A or B.

That software was causing me crash problems on my SXPS 16 when I first got it. Whenever a computer sound played my system crashed and also at other random moments. I uninstalled the thing and the crashes disappeared. In my opinion it's a waste of money. So I guess I'm C) Deleted it and will never bother to re-install it again :). Besides, the laptop sounds better without it. Although you do have a different system, I'm just telling you my own experience....

The only time I use it is when my Logitech Z-5300's are connected. These speakers sound better with it enabled.

I'm annoyed because I've tryed to install it again on my XPS after a clean install of windows and all it wants to do is tell me that the serial number is invalid.
