    Removing front panel with headphone jacks and powerlights on XPS M1530

    Does the small panel below the touch pad with the headphone jacks and power lights come off or is it permanently attached to the whole bottom part of the computer?

    I don't want to replace the entire system board, just that small panel on the system board. Is that possible, or is it permanently attached to the board?

    One of the headphone jacks are broken, the interior of it is cracked.

    Ultimately I think the headphone jack is replaceable. If you are comfortable taking computers apart then I'd say follow the service manual I posted and look for yourself. But you're looking at almost a complete dis-assembly to get to it.
