So right now I'm in process of installing an SSD and a HDD with a caddy. I'm almost done but the last thing is I can't figure out how to take off the faceplate for the original XPS 15's optical drive so I can put it on the caddy. If anyone knows how really quick let me know! :D

Izzy, there are three little tabs that connect it to the caddy. Remove the optical drive, if you haven't already, and you'll be able to see the ones on the ends. Use a small screwdriver to help bend the tabs a lttle bit, and the faceplate should come off. Take your time, and look at the tabs closely, so you'll understand which ones need to be manipulated.

    (Nice Brotip!)

Ah thanks guys forgot I had the thread here. I actually figured it out after looking at the damn thing for a few minutes after posting. Those bloody tabs are hard to see.

+1 Rep for both of you. And thanks Rick! Brotips are handy for the bro in need.
