    Hi,

I just received the refurbished XPS 15 L502x I bought from Dell Outlet. Everything seems right, but the screen resolution is 1366x768 with no option to go higher. I ordered one with the FHD 1080p screen. Device manager calls the screen a Generic PnP Monitor. I'm pretty sure they've messed up here, but just wanted to check here before calling Dell.

Here's my order detail where is lists the screen:

Yeah someone pulled a fast one at the factory. I would call up and get a refund or a replacement, though it will probably be awhile.

Got RMA. Disappointed and a little relieved. The upgraded screen was one of the main reasons I wanted this laptop. During setup, I thought the screen wasn't very impressive. Good to know it isn't the screen I wanted.

Yeah the standard WXGA 1368x768 screen is terribad. I've seen an XPS with the HD and the FHD and what a world of difference, the FHD is much brighter to begin with and of course the B+RGLED gives it a much high color gamut.
