I recently reformatted my studio xps 16. All of my dvd software got deleted obviously, like roxio. Is there anyway to download it back onto my computer? No cd game with my computer to re-install it.

-check internet and cable with another laptop
    - check ip setting and insure they are automatically set
-try ubuntu live cd ( you will not need to install just boot from it ) to ensure your wireless card is working , if it works then just try to remove the drivers and reinstall them , or reinstall windows and install wireless drivers at first
    - check that your router is not banning you mac address
    i don't have any more ideas :)

Wait... what? What does this have to do with his installation media?

Do you not have installation media because this is a refurb? Call up Dell and see if they'll send you the disks...

As Cmdr Wolf suggested, ask Dell to send you the software disks. Roxio and a few other software utilities come on disks that should have been shipped with your computer.

As for drivers, go to support.dell.com and click the Drivers & Downloads link. Enter your Service Tag or select your laptop model, and it will take you to a page where you can download all the drivers and some utility software.

Call Dell, and tell them what happened, they will give you a website to download it from or send you a CD.
