I was so excited to have received my M1530 FINALLY after waiting so long and man, what a beautiful laptop it is when I first laid eyes on it. I didn't really care that no accessories were included (except the remote) because all I really need and care for is the laptop. Then my OCD kicked into overdrive when I started noticing imperfections.. like the frame of the lcd screen on the top left side have a big gap (right side is flush) and there is a dent on the aluminum palm rest! Man.. the person or people that build these things don't really care about their worksmanship.. even on the XPS line. I wonder what Dell is gonna do about this. Send me another laptop with more imperfections for me to find, or send a tech over to replace the imperfect parts. I'm usually don't trust techs cuz they usually leave more damage then they fix (like scratches) because they don't care. Well, here are some pictures of the gap and dent.

You have 21 days from date of invoice to get a new replacement..Have you thought about this? After 21 days, it's usually a refurb....
If I were you (and this is just my opinion) I would call tomorrow and request a brand new replacement and send this one back, for the amount of money you put into a *good, quality lappy*..you deserve a good, quality lappy!
Good luck to you!...and I will still say congrat's!
