    I am going to purchase an xps studio 16 for college soon(going to major in computer science) and I was wondering if you guys know when the rgb screen will be available again? I really want this screen because i needed to digital photography(ps).

    I don't think anyone knows for sure... even if a rep said one thing, another will say something else....

    Honestly I do not think the RGB will be coming back anytime soon. But I can say, with experience, that the WLED is not a disappointment. While there may be some slight differences between a RGBLED and WLED for a graphics person, I cannot tell the difference.

    thanks, well I was looking at the refurbished xps 16s and I was wondering if it was worth getting rgb one from there, where the only drawback is the old 4000 series graphics card. The new xps come with a Mobility Radeon™ HD 5730, do you guys think that saving some money and having a better graphic card is worth it, compared to getting a refurbished rgb system with the old graphic card?

    I think I will do that, since I can steal a really cheap 3 year damage warranty for 90$ compared to the 400$ 2 year warranty on the refubrished one
