I finally had Dell send someone out to replace my motherboard and gpu and on my 1530 everything seems to be working fine.

    Just two quick things.

First my volume and mute buttons dont seem to work now. The play pause and eject media buttons seem to work fine. I dont want to make dell send someone out just for that as im assuming its just a wire that didnt get connected. Is this something I can do on my own?

Second when they replaced everything PC wizard says my processor is the t7200 now but windows still shows it as the 5750. Will windows not recognize it without a reinstall?

thanks in advance for any help.

What does it say when you go into the BIOS? Windows should adjust itself accordingly if the processor is swapped.

Yes check the BIOS first, and if it really is a T7200 then go to windows Device manager and uninstall the current processors.

Then click Scan for hardware changes, and it should reload the new processors.

Thats still the T5750 im afraid.

    The T7200 has 4mb cache.

Use CPU-z to double check if you like..
