Hello everyone, sorry to make another post. I'm not the best with computers although I found the people here very very helpful, so thank you all in advance.

I just got my dell M1530, it runs perfect, I have one game currently installed. (World of Warcraft) I do have about two or three more I would love to put on and test out. My question is though, will this slow my computer down at all? Even a tiny bit? To have these games installed and present on my games partition. Games such as, FS2004, Swat 4, LOTR MMO. Will these slow my boot-up time? Or eat any FPS in other games? If there not running nor have running processes with them unless they are running? Thank you :)

Don't exactly "pack" your HDD. Keep at least 15-20% free at all times, and defragment after installing or uninstalling large applications (such as games).

I second stevey. You always nead at least 15% free hard drive for swap files, so it all depends on how much space do you have.

Also with Windows Vista you have the option to add a USB thumb drive as a performance booster.

In the end you shouldn't worry as long as you leave that 15% free and defragment at least once or twice a month.
