After installing new HDD (Seagate) and new RAM (Corsairs), when I do the first power ON button do I need to insert Window 7 installer first or let the XPS1530 Bios detect the new HDD & RAM?

The process goes BIOS -> Bootable Media -> HDD regardless of what you have in the DVD drive.

does it mean when I power ON for the first time after inserting new HDD and RAM, insert the Windows7 disc immediately? or wait after the BIOS process?

Depending on how your boot order is set up, you most likely have to hit a key during the BIOS splash page to boot from disk.

Power on before putting in win 7 and make sure the bios recognizes it, otherwise you might have to tweak some settings. Then restart with the win 7 dvd.

BTW, have you checked to makes sure you have the latest firmware on the ssd? Its a real pain to update it after you install an os on it.

Hardware will be auto detected. Its not like the old days where you had to enter in the specs of the drive.

Just go into the BIOS, select optical drive as first boot device, Insert W7 disc, Save BIOS settings. It should restart and lead to a "Press any key to load disc".

As posted by EntityX....after the BIOS recognize my HDD I will restart my PC (Hard Reset? I dont know if theres an option on BIOS to restart) and hit F2 (?) to boot on Windows7 disc.

There is always the option to exit your bios and do a restart. When the comp reboots make sure to go into the boot option menu, I think its F12 on the xps, and choose internal cd/dvd drive. Then follow the instructions to boot from the disc.
