    Hi every1, as the title says, i'm wondering whats that slot for, i can't find an aswer and so far i guess its for a gsm chip for using 3g, i'm right?

    You are correct. If you remove the bottom cover of the laptop, you'll find a spot that you can install a 3g wireless card. Then you can make use of the sim slot.

    Where can you get one of these wireless cards? I would love to have one for the XPS M1530 I have on the way but I didn't have the option of one during the purchase process (I'm using Rogers Wireless as the carrier).
