I was thinking of getting a Dell m1530,
but I wanted to ask... how good is the color reproduction?

I do digital art so it's pretty important for me to know before I decide to buy it.

    Thanks in advance!

    Edit:
And sorry if this has already been asked/answered.

The LED screen would be best or if you want the best color reproduction you should look at getting a RGBLED screen, but I think you will need to pick a different model.

    Ah, thanks!

Well I wanted it mainly for browsing, school work (starting college soon), and to draw.
I don't plan on getting some hardcore laptop for artists since it's more of a hobby, rather than a field of work that I'll mainly be focusing on.

I just wanted to know what the color gamut for this computer was. It doesn't have to be the best, just as long as it matches decently.

So if you all believe the LCD screen has a decent color reproduction, then that's good enough for me.

If anyone else has anything to add, feel free to leave a comment. (....please)

    Thanks again!

For Colour your best bet is the RGBLED screen on the Studio XPS 16

Apparently it gets very close to showing 100% of the Adobe RGB Colour space

I have the M1530 with a LG LCD that I use quite a lot for graphics and the like - I find that the reds appear a little darker than they should, but otherwise the colours are fairly good.
