On my Dell Precision M6400 I can set the keyboard backlite to shut off if not useing it. Then when you type or use the touchpad the keyboard lites back up. Is there a feature like this for the Dell XPS M1730?

It does not have that function unfortunately and as far as Iam aware there is no way to alter it.
