    Hello all,

I recently bought a Bluetooth mini-card for my XPS 1640 off ebay (this is what i got)

The drivers are the Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth Minicard, which according to the dell site is part P560G which is what this is.

I put it in, and the Bluetooth light comes on when i start my computer (and stays on), but it does not show up in my device manager, and no drivers will install as they cannot detect it.

Has anyone had any problems with buying a BT card after buying a 1640 w/o one?

I literally just did this on Friday. I ordered this directly from Dell:
    1 CRD,WRLES,BLTH,370,FXCN,5DB,NB $9.99
which if I remember correctly is the same model you have. I installed it in a spare mini card slot, booted my system, installed the drivers form the dell page & restarted the computer. It is detected & I even tested tethering with my iPhone.

I know in the BIOS you can disable bluetooth. Have you checked to ensure it isn't disabled?
