    can anyone tell me power consumption of dell xps m1530 with penryn processor under full load and at idle ( i mean ebook reading ,downloading )

    Get the program battery track (google Vista Battery Saver). This will be able to get you the power consumption info that you want.

    I would do it for you, but don't have an m1530 :p

    mine is idle now @ 35W with screen at max and wireless / BT off. I guess it's around 50-55 W with everything at max and on (wireless, bt, cpu, gpu, hdd)

    I'd say more than 55W, otherwise there would be no reason for a 90W adaptor...
    But maybe I'm wrong...
