    Hi folks,

Could I ask anyone who has got this laptop to advise me on what kind of adapter the power plug uses? I am looking to pick up another ebay UK power plug and I am not sure of the ending ie a clover leaf or 'kettle' design to plug into the transformer. It looks like a generic C5 clover leaf design which is readily available, but with dell you never know! Also is the UK plug fused at 3A?
    Thanks

Is it an XPS 13 2015 you're asking about?

No problem, thought I'd double check first. It looks like a generic clover leaf to me as well, I tried plugging another power cable in from Sony or Lenovo and it appeared to work fine. The fuse is listed on the casing as 5A.:

Thanks for the pic. In the UK the nearest I can find is something like this:

Nothing with a round end. Hopefully with a little bit of trimming & fuse change we will be good to go!

I don't think you'd need to worry about the round end, I'll check the power cable I tested with but it was a bog standard one I've used with Lenovo and Sony chargers.
