I have a question that may sound stupid but here goes. I have a Dell XPS M1710 laptop that I have just got running it is outfitted as follows:

    Intel Duo Core Processor
    Processor ID 06E8
    Clock Speed 1.83
    4GB DDR2 SDRAM Memory
    320 GB Hard Drive
    DVD+/_RW
Video Nividia Geforce GO 7900 GS W/ 256 MB Memory

Anyways I cannot find in the BIOS where I can overclock the processor.
Can this processor be overclocked ?

By the way the BIOS is AO1 (5/9/2006) Do I need to update the BIOS to gain overclocking advantage.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, because I am in the process of rebuilding another XPS M1710.

    Thanks in advance
    Bob
