So, I'm looking at getting a laptop from Dell Outlet. It's a pretty good deal. But I don't wanna be stuck with 32 bit Windows 7.
    Here's what it says.

Software Upgrade Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit Operating System DVD

Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 32-Bit Operating System DVD
Does that mean it comes with both? If I get ripped off and get the noobish 32 bit OS, is there any way I can murder it and throw 64 bit on there?

Typically the same key works for both a 32 and 64-bit OS, but Dell never supplies both disks, so yea....I call Dell fail.

How much RAM are you getting? If it is over 4GB, they have to put 64-bit on or the extra RAM is useless.

Yes to the first part. The COA will activate whether using a 64 or 32 bit version. And alot of business notebooks with 4 GB still come with 32 bit Windows (mostly refurb) for compatibility reasons, though new usually offer 64 bit.
