I just ordered another XPS m1530. I am returning my current XPS M1530 (specs in sig) and getting an updated XPS with the new penryn T9300 (2.5ghz) an extra gig of ram and an extra 70gb of hard drive space.

It was only a $100 upgrade :) . I spent about $2000 AUD on the old spec and $2100 AUD on the new spec (with 3 years platinum warranty and accidental . After salary sacrifice, i'll end up paying about $1500-$1600 AUD  .

Will probably be one of the first consumers to have these because i ordered it the day it was released in Australia.

Will do battery tests and 3dmark06 when i get it on the 10th and post up in the forums for you guys to compare to the T7000 series.

It'll be interesting to see if it was worth it huh?

I seriously can not be screwed to send mine back as soon as I get it because I need the laptop for uni and I'd rather have it now, not later.

Awaiting benchmark results on the 8th :)
