I was hoping someone else has been experiencing this and found a fix. A couple days ago I noticed that I no longer play sounds through the internal speakers. Everything works fine if I am connected to external headphones or my 5.1 speakers. Running the diagnostic I do hear sounds through the internal speakers, so it isn't the speakers. I have tried reinstalling drivers and updating directx. I have also removed the IDT drivers and used the generic Windows 7 drivers to no avail.

    I am running Windows 7 Professional 64bit.

Any ideas before I try dell support, which I loathe.

    Thanks in advance!
