    I just purchased a Dell Refurbished XPS 15 - 9530. It has the 4712HQ, 512GB SSD, 16GB Ram, GT750M, 8949sLV and the QHD+ 3200x1800 Touch.

Or at least that is what it's supposed to have. I've verified that it does have a 4712HQ, a 512GB SSD, and 16Gb Ram. The laptop looks new and everything so far (just started it and setting it up though) seems to work fine other than the touch screen. The touch screen doesn't work at all actually and I wanted to get some input.

The screen resolution is in fact 3200x1800. But, when I go to System, next to 'Pen and Touch' it states 'No pen or touch input is available for this display'.

Were these computers configured with 3200x1800 screens that were not touch screens? Is something wrong with the screen, does it possible not have the screen that it is supposed to have, or am I missing something simple? How can I verify that it has a faulty touch screen or isn't a touch screen at all? I checked the Dell website, it scanned my computer and said that it has all the latest drivers.

    Thanks for any help!

I should mention also that the sticker on the left palm rest has 6 icons/features shown. One is "Touch Display with Corning Gorilla Glass NBT" and another is "15.6" UltraSharp Quad HD+ (3200x1800)"

Have you tried updating the drivers? Otherwise, the touch screen might be DOA.
