    No 'Dell Touchpad' option in mouse settings (XPS 15 L502x)

    Hi

    So i wanted to change my mouse settings and noticed there was no dell touchpad option under mouse settings. Can anyone help me out please?

    it should be under 'device settings' with the red logo of synaptics, if not download the drivers.

    It's not clear what you are asking for then. The touchpad settings are under the "Device Settings" tab in Mouse properties. The only other thing you might need to control, that I can think of, is the touchpad enable/disable control which is provided by QuickSet.

    I've never seen that in my life, are you sure? The ony available settings are the synaptics device settings.

    Do you see where it says "hardware"? Click on that, then select the touchpad and click <Properties>. Post a screenshot of that.

    I have seen that tab and that graphic somehwere before but I don't recall where....

    edit: Have you tried clicking on the picture?

    I'm sure.

    You are supposed to click on the picture and it opens another window which has the settings, this screenshot isn't mine, i picked it up from another site. This setting been on all my previous Dell laptops and all other Dell laptops i have used thus far.

    That was in some Dell laptops, yes. But these laptops use a different driver. The options to control the touchpad are found as described by us above.
