    New XPS16 BIOS reveals new config

    For all of you that have been waiting the new XPS16 BIOS shows:

    "Support new PWM panel.
    support new configuration with Gfx ATI Mobility Radeon?HD 4670"

    So expect HD4670 soon!

    too bad they put the hd 3670 actually on the board. i don't see any way to upgrade besides buying a new one

    Maybe they will sell a SXPS 16 with the HD 4670 soon?
    What means PWM panel?

    I would think they would release an XPS16 with the HD4670 soon, it seems that an BIOS is already ready so it's just a matter of days/weeks before it will be an option.

    PWM should stand for Pulse Width Modulation or it could be Power Managment..

    Well I guess if this is true, it's time to return my new XPS 16 (just shipped today too!) and wait on this new revision. BTW can you post up the bios notes? I haven't been able to find them.

    Yep just had google translate the page and sure enough it's there. Well I guess that settles it, I'll have to wait till delivery and setup a return. This sucks because I think they charge a 15% restock fee + shipping costs.
