Ladies and Gent's today I purchased my first Dell (purchased from dell directly). After watching the outlet store for nearly a whole week, cheking when ever I had a free moment. I pulled the trigger this morn when I found the system that had almost everything I wanted. The Spec's are as follows.

    Dell M1710 in Black
    T7600 Intel Core2 Duo 2.33Ghz/667/4Mb CPU
    2GB 667 Ram
100GB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive
512MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX
    DVD +/-RW Dual Layer
    Dell Wireless 1500 Card (802.11N)
    2 Power Cords
    XP Pro
    3 years of complete care

    All for only $2900

Only thing it didnt have that I wanted was Bluetooth, So I ordered a Dell 355 from ebay today for $35 (nearly half of what dell wants for them)

How'd I do? I was happy bc it was nearly 1100 cheaper than if i had got it from the reg store.

that is a good buy and you are going to love it. Also I found that buying warranty after your purchase is much cheaper maybe 50 than buying it up front. That is my experience though

Actualy, I didn't realize that I could get the warrantee after the fact, but because it was an outlet machine, I felt it was worth the $300 to get the Complete Care Warrantee... that combined with the fact that I almost killed my Inspiron 8200 by leaving it on the roof of my Jeep Wrangler and driving off. It slid off the roof and turned into MANY MANY pieces. I put it back together and it works, but it just isn't the same.

I cant wait for the M1710 to come in. Should be here on the 11/1 :D
