    Hey..it's me again

I was trying my Sandisk Cruzer Titanium yesterday, and it fit into the right usb port and the bottom of the two left usb ports. When I tried the top usb port, it wudn't go in....It just doesnt wanna go in and I thiink im applying enough pressure (more than it took to put it in the other 2 at least..)...it does seem like the top usb port is higher and squeezed.

What is this and what should I do? Call Dell (i have onsite) to get the guy to bring the port down or ????

    thanks

Yeah that seems to be an issue with mine too. If I push hard enough it will go...it seems that the top USB port is blocked slightly by the casing of the laptop. It didn't bother me that much so I just use the other two USB ports instead.

my cruzer fits in the top left port just fine. i just have to wiggle it a bit when i put it in. it'll kinda "click" into place.

It'll probably loosen up as you use it more. My USB ports were all really tight on my 1420 when I got it (made line engravements on the connectors :(), but after a while they work normally now.

I had the same issue too.. the top left would not allow me to plugin usb cables easily.. the other two were fine.. but now, upon using it frequently, it has become a little better to plug in and pull out..

though these days I just use it for the cooler, there by always leaving it plugged in.. i use the other two for other accessories..

Though I must say, based on what I read around, its not advisable to apply too much force or pressure to plug in / pull out through these USB ports.. but trying slowly it does fit in.. and after a while it becomes more easy. Cheers.

Hey, just be happy that the USB port is fresh and that no one has broken them in but you. :)

If it doesn't work *for you* the way others have suggested, you can call Dell and have a Techician check it out/and or repair ;) :)

^^^^Same here, I do the same thing with mine, same results ;) :)

    Cin ;) :)
