I need help in deciding the combination of the config:
    a) i7-2630QM
    15.6" (39.6cm) HD (1366x768) WLED display with TrueLife™
    8GB Dual-channel 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM (2 x 4G)
    750GB 7200RPM Hard Drive
    2GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 540M

    b) i7-2630QM
    15.6" (39.6cm) HD (1366x768) WLED display with TrueLife™
    4GB Dual-channel 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM (2 x 4G)
    750GB 7200RPM Hard Drive
    1GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 525M

    c) i7-2630QM
    15.6" (39.6cm) HD (1366x768) WLED display with TrueLife™
    6GB Dual-channel 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM (2 x 4G)
    750GB 7200RPM Hard Drive
    2GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 540M

I am thinking of buying (c) with my budget limit... but is 8GB RAM better than 6GB because in 6GB one is a single channel (2GB) and the other is a dual channel (4GB)??? Plz help

go for (c). Do all the configs have BLURAY.
and dont forget to call up dell and ask for more discount. I called up twice. 1st time I said I am getter better specs for lesser price so they offered $100 discount. 2nd time I called up to cancel the 2yr extended warranty and they offered me another $75 discount to keep the 2yr extended warranty.
