    Hello,
just wanted to post some pictures of my new SGP Skin for my SXPS 1340. It has a silicon adhesive so you can reapply w/out messing it up. It looks way cooler in person and I have already gotten a few compliments. The best part is I dont have to worry so much about scratching.

Love it. Did you get it directly from them?

No, they dont have this option on their site so I had to use ebay. It took a week and half to arrive, but was worth it. I think it was like $24 or so. Here is the link to their ebay site.

Thats sweet, but if the palmrest remains unchanged I would rather not have it.

I believe they do have a palmrest product on the link above. The palmrest got great reviews on another thread.

I have had both the carbon lid skin and the synthetic "leather" (was more of a felt feeling material than leather) palm rest for some time now (since I got my SXPS 13), but I took off the palm rest recently as it was starting to get rather dusty/dirty. The carbon lid skin however, is still in perfect condition. Absolutely love it.

    Hey Chevychic and huey

I was wondering what your experience was like overall with the leather skins from SGP both for the screen and the palm rest.

I was considering both of them for my Studio XPS 1340

What do you anticipate the lifetime for these to be? and did they cause any additional heating for the laptop?

I have had my SGP skin on the top case for about 3 months. It is in still perfect condition. I don't have the palm rest so I can't say what that it like. As far as I can tell the lid cover doesn't change the temp at all. I take my laptop in and out of my backpack every day and it hasn't caused any sort of blemish (like peeling or warping). So far A+.

Very nice very nice, easier to clean since it has a skin on it now.
