My sister is using my Dell M1330 in Germany. It has the same graphics problem that it did over a year ago, and I had the motherboard replaced with a new one. She is going to ship it over to the US, and it's still under warrantee. At this point, are they going to replace the motherboard? or give me a new laptop? anyone else have any recent experience with this? (I'm pretty sure the graphics card is completely dead, it's the Nvidia 8400M that we all know has huge problems).

They will give you a replacement laptop if they if they had issued you three or more replacement parts. Until then, they will continue to replace your motherboard.

Are you sure? Does that mean I should get the motherboard replaced and sell it? Because the warrantee will run out in a year from December and I don't want to risk another failure.

Yes, i am sure about that. You can read *XPS M1730 Problems/Dell Replacement Issues* that it explains more clearly about the replacement system. I am getting a replacement and was arguing with the rep so...i am pretty sure XD. It is better for you to sell it....8400m is known for that failure

How long was the original warranty? Dell was extending the warranties due to this problem.
