Microsoft just upgraded my XPS 15 from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 10 Pro I mean: I had Windows 10 Pro on the XPS 15, and Microsoft forced through an upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, the same exact build: 10586.318. I saw the upgrade notice, there was no way to stop it upon shutdown, and I got to wait 30 anxiety-filled minutes while Microsoft "did their upgrade". I'm an advanced user and I've never seen anything like that. Has anyone had this happen to them?

I'm using a desktop with Win 10 Pro 64 Build 10240. When turning off my computer last night, I hit "update and reboot" instead of "shut down." It rebooted into Windows installation (a little scary) and started counting up from 0% to around 30% before going to a black screen for a few minutes. It was non-responsive, so I held the power button to shut it off.
I checked Windows update again today, and it is downloading Build 10586 (which was apparently released in November... not sure why it didn't try to download before now?).
I guess I'll let it try again?
